At ASA, developing strong leaders and
strengthening state relations is a top priority and the
ASA State Leaders Summit is key to making that happen. The
Summit is open to the ASA Executive Committee, state
presidents, state executive directors and state QSSB
executive directors and will provide the opportunity to
share insights and align thinking and approach on priority
issues for 2012.
AFTERNOON JOINT SESSION
The afternoon program will feature a joint session
with state membership chairs and state membership staff.
The keynote speaker for the session is Cynthia D'Amour.
Cynthia's presentation Lead, Laugh - or Get Out of the
Way! The Lazy Leader's Guide to Outrageous Results
focuses on you as a leader of an association.
|
Cynthia understands your
job is to secure the future of the organization. An
important key to that is creating a strong base of
volunteers. The challenge? Creating a leadership
experience that makes others want to get engaged.
Cynthia D'Amour, MBA, Leadership Strategist and author
of The Lazy Leader's Guide to Outrageous Results
will teach you how to create a strong future for your
association by getting more work done through the
involvement of others.
As a result of this
program you will be able to... |
 |
- Transform potential volunteer hot
buttons from "I don't have time" into "I can't wait to
volunteer!"
- Tap into a new approach to
leadership.
- Create compelling experiences to get
others involved.
